MIRANDA REPSHER PEEL
Owner/Program Director
Miranda Repsher Peel, owner and program director of the Legacy Gymnastics Academy, Inc., opened the facility in August 2006. She has thirteen years of experience working with beginning through competitive athletes, as well as over ten years of experience as a competitive gymnast. Miranda is a 2001 graduate of Friendswood High School, where she was a member of the gymnastics team as well as the cheerleading squad. In 2006 she became a summa cum laude graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where she earned a joint Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English, as well as the award for Outstanding Communications graduate.
She is a professional member of USA Gymnastics as well as an associate member of the United States Elite Coaches Association. She is also CPR and First Aid certified though the American Heart Association as well as Safety Certified through USA Gymnastics. She is also a member of the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce.

AMANDA BUCHANAN HAMMON
Developmental and Competitive Gymnastics Instructor
Amanda began working at Legacy in October 2007. Her background includes 14 years as a competitive gymnast, where she earned numerous district, state, and regional titles. Amanda graduated from Pearland High School in 2001, where she was a member of the gymnastics team as well as the Prancer drill team and was also head cheerleader! She has been coaching gymnastics for around eleven years and has experience working with beginning through optional level gymnasts, including both men's and women's competitive teams. Amanda also spent two years in the Air Force! Amanda is a USA Gymnastics Professional Member, is USA Gymnastics Safety Certified as well as CPR certified. She recently had her first child, Michael, in March 2008

MEGAN MONTESINOS HOLBROOK
Developmental and Competitive Gymnastics Instructor
Megan began working at Legacy in January 2008. She was formerly an optional level competitive gymnast and also a competitive all-star cheerleader. Megan has been teaching preschool through advanced competitive athletes for over six years. She recently had her first child, Logan, in August 2009 and plans to return to school in the spring to study Engineering.

MIGUEL MONTESINOS
Developmental and Competitive Gymnastics Instructor
Miguel began working at Legacy in August 2008. Coach Miguel has over 21 years of experience coaching beginning through advanced recreational and competitive gymnastics, and his passion for the sport really shows - just watch him teach a class! Miguel teaches all of our recreational classes and also helps with the women's competitive teams. Coach Miguel also offers private lessons for all levels of ability. MICAH KERR
Competitive Cheer Instructor, Developmental and Competitive
Gymnastics Instructor
Coach Micah began working at Legacy in March 2009. His experience includes thirteen years of training in men’s competitive gymnastics, where he competed at the junior Olympic level. Micah was a collegiate cheerleader at Blinn Junior College and also Sam Houston State University. He has also coached tumbling and competitive cheerleading, including several senior national teams, for over thirteen years in the Austin and Houston areas. He currently works with our recreational gymnastics and tumbling classes, and also our competitive gymnastics and cheer squads.

KATIE LAMB
Competitive Cheer Instructor
Katie began coaching competitive cheer squads in 2006 before joining the Legacy staff in February 2009. She graduated from Clear Brook High School in 2004 and currently lives in Clear Lake with her husband and son. Katie is first aid and CPR certified. Choreography and stunting are her favorite areas to coach.

CHRISTINE BAILEY
Preschool Gymnastics Instructor
Miss Christina began working at Legacy in October 2009. She has worked with young children in all types of environments, including tutoring, day care, children’s photography, and has even coached soccer! She was also a twirler for over seven years, and incorporated basic gymnastics and dance skills into her performances. She loves working with the preschool age group!

JESSICA HARTENSTEIN
Assistant Instructor
Jessica Hartenstein begain working at Legacy in November 2006. Jessica was a competitve gymnast for nine years, both in San Antonio, TX and later at the South East Gymnastics Academy in Houston, TX. Jessica also has several years of competitive softball and swimming experience, participating in both city and state championships, and is currently on the golf team at her high school. Jessica was also a preschool assistant at SEGA.

EMILY AVERITT-CLEVELAND
Assistant Instructor
Emily began working at Legacy in November 2009. She has been a competitive gymnast for nine years, first at the South East Gymnastics Academy in Houston, TX, and is currently a Legacy team member. Emily assists with our beginning level competitive teams.

RACHEL WARD
Assistant Instructor
Rachel Ward began working at Legacy in January 2010. She has nine years of competitive gymnastics experience and has recently moved from competitive gymnastics to coaching gymnastics! She has taught preschool, recreational, and beginning competitive gymnasts, and currently works with our recreational gymnastics classes. She loves coaching beam!

MOLLY ROGERS
Assistant Instructor
Molly Rogers began working at Legacy in January 2010. She was a competitive gymnast for six years, and later moved to competitive cheerleading. She is a former Legacy Extreme cheer squad member, and currently cheers for Friendswood High School. She is currently a preschool gymnastics assistant and loves working with this age group!
